Long Term Facilities, Ohio

Extended Care

At Neil Kennedy Recovery Centers, patients interested in housing programs can go to Gateway Rehab's facilities in Western PA. These long-term drug rehab programs can help you or a loved one make a fresh start. After completion of primary drug and alcohol treatment, it is critical that those in the beginning stages of recovery continue to seek and receive support and encouragement in the right environment to ensure long-term alcoholism recovery.

Our housing programs are for men and women ages 18 and up, and provide a supportive home environment where you can practice daily recovery skills. Many of our patients have jobs, attend school, or participate in community service activities. In our extended care programs, patients in recovery are immersed in a stable, substance-free living environment, surrounded by a community of people committed to sobriety.

If you’re looking for a top-rated residential substance abuse treatment center, look no further than Neil Kennedy Recovery Centers. Our staff can provide you with the information you need to be connected to our sober living homes in Western Pennsylvania.

Extended Care For Men

Tom Rutter or Moffett House

For many people, the recovery journey does not end once they finish an inpatient program. Many of our patients who complete primary treatment do not have a stable home or job to return to, leaving them unsure of what to do next. We are committed to providing adult men with safe, drug-and-alcohol free homes to help transition back to real life.

Tom Rutter House located in Aliquippa, PA, and Moffett House located in Beaver Falls, PA are two of our male sober living communities. Once you are settled into a sober living house, you will be able to enjoy more freedoms than were you afforded to you during detox.  Our clinicians perform regular drug testing and provide behavioral counseling to ensure that each patient stays clean, sober, and on the recovery path. If you are in search of residential treatment centers or drug rehab in the Western Pennsylvania region, call or request an appointment with us today.

Extended Care For Women

Cece’s Place

Even the most motivated patients can succumb to relapse once they graduate from a drug rehabilitation program. This is because many patients either don’t have a home to return to, or their home is not a stable or supportive environment. It’s crucial for patients that are fresh out of treatment to be surrounded by sober, like-minded people in order to achieve sustained sobriety.

At Cece’s Place, adult women aged 18 and over are able to live in a safe, drug and alcohol-free environment where they can focus on their recovery. Our clinicians will provide regular drug testing, counseling services, and provide connections to community resources aimed at helping patients find their footing. At Neil Kennedy Recovery Centers, we believe that patients in extended care can greatly increase their chances of long-term sobriety and reintegration into society.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are sober living houses for?

Sober living houses are facilities that are designed to provide safe, drug and alcohol-free housing, and a supportive, structured environment for people graduating from drug rehab programs. Sober living houses serve as a transition between rehabilitation and the outside world.

Can I work while staying in a sober living house?

Yes. Many of the residents in our sober living homes continue to go to work, attend school, and participate in community events. We encourage our residents to engage with the outside world in healthy, meaningful ways to help ensure a successful transition to life outside of our programs.

Should I enroll in the extended care program?

If you or a loved one have undergone primary treatment for alcohol or substance use disorder and are unsure of what to do next, contact us. We are more than happy to discuss our extended care programs and guide you towards a post-treatment plan that works best for your needs.

Will I be drug tested in a sober living home?

Yes. Our clinicians perform regular drug testing on all residents.
